JWU Charlotte : Tuition & Fees : Payment Options

Payment Options

Prior to each term’s payment deadline date, all students must have a finalized payment plan or be up-to-date with their approved payment plan. Financial planning representatives are available to help you and your family satisfy payment requirements.

Penalties for Not Finalizing a Payment Plan Prior to Deadline

  • Holds are placed and you will not be permitted to begin classes.
  • Class schedules and/or housing assignments may be deleted.
  • Check for holds in jwuLink, especially before the start of classes and after payment deadlines.

Payment Options Include (one or a combination)

  • Make one payment for the academic year
  • Make one interest-free payment each term (divide balance due by the number of enrollment terms, typically 3)
  • Make interest-free monthly payments (divide balance due by the number of months and add a small one-time fee to the first payment; up to 12 monthly payments can be made depending on enrollment date)
  • Parent PLUS Loan
  • Private Student Loan
  • Company reimbursement (60K PDF) (employers may pay for all or a portion of tuition)

For confirmation of balance due or loan borrowing amounts and to review payment options, contact a financial planning representative.
