Prior to joining the faculty of Johnson& Wales University, Piyavan Sukalakamala taught Introduction to Beverage, Bar and Beverage Management and Laboratory experiences in Hotel Operations, Food Systems Management and Advanced Food Production Management. At Texas Tech University's International Center for Food Industry Excellence (ICFIE, Sukalakamala’s role as research assistant included work with a multidisciplinary research team on sensory evaluation of organic food products and a food behavior market segmentation survey focusing on Generation Y consumers.
