DFAAB Committees

The Denver Family Association Advisory Board (DFAAB) has three active committees.

Advocacy Committee
Chairperson: Dana Argo
Responsibilities:

To compile and summarize surveys at all DFA events along with e-mail inquiries, highlighting positive experiences as well as areas of opportunity
To follow up with parent’s emails to ensure they have received a response to their inquiry. Initial responses to families will be made by JWU faculty
To hold a quarterly meeting with the advocacy committee to address the top areas of opportunity as identified by parents and students through the surveys. Will coordinate with staff advisor to address responses.
To provide a quarterly report to the DFA executive board regarding the progress of the advocacy committee

Programming Committee
Chairpersons: Bobi Siembeda and Don Delmonte
Responsibilities:

To create and promote events and programs that bring families to campus and/or off campus events
To consider Winter DFA event for family members of Colorado students
Provide a quarterly report to the DFA executive board regarding the progress of the programming committee

Communications Committee
Chairperson: Kathy Natoli
Responsibilities:

To create and coordinate a DFA e-newsletter each term
To provide a quarterly report to the DFA executive board regarding the progress of the communications committee
