A Golfer’s Paradise
Thanks to our prime location in the golfing mecca of South Florida, you’ll learn from top pros and have year-round access to play at such world-class clubs as The Doral, The Diplomat and Miami Shores. For two academic terms, you’ll even take courses right on the fairway. And, through our alliance with Jim McLean, the nation's top-ranked golf school, you'll be well schooled in proper technique.
In this dynamic teaching environment, you’ll strengthen your game while learning the inner workings of the business. And, with a three-term academic year, you can take three to four classes at a time, rather than four to five in a traditional semester system. You’ll also strengthen your communications and analytical skills through arts and sciences courses and our extensive career preparation resources.
The program culminates in an 11-week off-site externship at a university-approved site where you’ll develop essential skills and gain valuable work experience. Past internship and co-op opportunities have included Arnold Palmer Golf and the Doral Golf Resort & Spa, as well as premier events like the Ford PGA Championship and the Royal Caribbean Classic at Key Biscayne.
In addition to being cohorted academically, you’ll have the option of living with your peers in our latest Living-Learning community, open only to Golf Management students.
