Criminal Justice: More than Law Enforcement

When Lindsay Caswell ’07 started at JWU she didn’t really know what she wanted to do in criminal justice.

"I thought I could only go into law enforcement, but my career coach told me about other fields that I could pursue, such as insurance fraud, credit card fraud and criminal investigation. Now I’m a liability claims adjuster for an insurance company.”

Criminal justice is a rapidly growing field. Heightened national security and added focus on corporate accountability have opened up new job possibilities for those with the training to respond to the challenge.

JWU’s Criminal Justice degree programs will give you the hands-on experience and technical knowledge to broaden your career possibilities.

Our professors bring their field-tested expertise in law, criminal justice and forensics into the classroom, where they bring their industry knowledge and firsthand experiences to life.

They also bring the industry to you, through in-class seminars with industry experts, lectures and networking events.

You'll also have the opportunity to learn from pros in the field through a senior year internship.
