Before joining the faculty of the College of Culinary Arts in Providence in 2008, Roberto Villarreal worked as Compliance Monitor and then Nutrition Coordinator for the Texas Department of Agriculture. He is also the recipient of the 2009 Outstanding First Year Teacher Award.
A Registered Dietitian, Villarreal, also worked as executive chef at Sodexho and taught Food Science at Texas State University.
