JWU Awards $79 Million in Scholarships to Driven Students

For more than 30 years, Johnson & Wales University has been awarding scholarships to motivated and committed members of national student organizations. In the last year, JWU awarded over 6,500 NSO scholarships, totaling more than $79 million.

If you were you a member of Business Professionals of America, DECA, Future Business Leaders of America, Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, Junior Achievement, National FFA, SkillsUSA or the Technology Students Association, you can continue your past memberships as a JWU student.

In fact, more than 25% of JWU students were members of a national student organization in high school and chose to continue their membership in college.

In addition to having access to substantial scholarship money, membership is also a great way to strengthen your personal and professional career goals.

Benefits of membership:

  • Gain career knowledge by attending career development seminars
  • Put your skills to the test by participating in role play competitions
  • Develop and improve your leadership skills by attending leadership conferences and seminars
  • Run for local, state or national office
  • Travel and network to exchange ideas and make contact with students from all over the US
  • Give back by becoming involved in community service
