North Miami President Emeritus Honored for 40 Years of Service

On Fri, Mar 27, Johnson & Wales University will honor founding North Miami campus president, Donald G. “Mac” McGregor, J.D, with an evening of celebration.

In recognition of 40 years of service, the dine-around event will feature a silent auction, live entertainment, and cuisine from JWU chef instructors, students, alumni and friends of the university.

Participating chefs include: Michelle Bernstein ’94 ’03 Hon., owner of Michy’s and Sra. Martinez, executive director of Common Threads South Florida and author of "Cuisine à Latina"; Edgar Leal, executive chef and owner of Cacao Restaurant; Sean Lucas ’00, executive chef at Electrolux Professional North America; and Albert Uster, owner of Albert Uster Imports. Event sponsors include: Chartwells Higher Education, Eurest Dining Services, Flik International, Morrison, and Compass Group.

In addition, proceeds from ticket purchases will benefit the JWU scholarship fund to continue to support student success in Mac’s honor. You can register online through JWU Alumni Events.
