Arts & Sciences
As a leader in career education, JWU stresses the importance of general education for both your personal and professional development. You’ll take at least one-third of all your credits in Arts & Sciences, integrating liberal arts studies with our career-focused degree programs. You’ll develop the critical thinking, communication and analytical skills necessary for long-term career progression.
Arts & Sciences programs add value to your degree through
- opportunities to study subject matter that interests you in greater depth, through a range of disciplines and concentrations
- a Summer abroad program in England with a focus on general education courses
- our Cultural event series featuring renowned artists, performers, authors, musicians and scientists
We provide you with valuable workplace skills in writing, math, logical thinking, and communication, and seek to broaden your understanding of the world and your place within it, through courses in literature, history, science, leadership, humanities, language, and the social sciences.
