Cable Television

Basic cable television service is provided throughout JWU campus in all classrooms, lounges, common areas and residence hall bedrooms and living rooms.

For even more entertainment options, upgrade to Digital TV service with options including convenient navigation tools, local and national high definition programming, Movies On Demand, Sports packages and DVR.

Channel Lineup
To access the Channel Lineup on Time Warner Cable:

1. Visit Time Warner Cable
2. Select "Channel Lineups" under the ‘Tools’ heading
3. Select “Time Warner Cable - Charlotte, NC" from the drop-down box
4. Click the “See Channel Lineup” button
5. Select/check only “Broadcast Cable” and “Basic Cable” under the ‘Package Filter’ heading

Campus Events Channel
When you’re on campus, there’s a cable television channel just for you! Watch the Campus Events Channel to get informed and for answers to questions you might have about activities on campus.

The channel displays announcements, Campus Safety & Security notices, academic information, events, deadlines, news and student activities. The channel, which is on channel 9 on the cable lineup, is available throughout all of campus (including the Academic Center, Gateway Center, Gateway Village administrative offices and residence halls). It serves as your round-the-clock connection to campus activity.

The Campus Events Channel is produced by Communications & Media Relations. Items of interest for inclusion should be sent to Melinda Law, communications & media relations manager for approval.

Sales and Technical Support
Call Time Warner Cable toll free at 866-872-4898. When you call, you will be asked to verify the phone number you are calling from and you must say “NO.” You will be asked for the 10-digit phone number associated with our account and you must enter the following:

• For Cedar Hall North or Cedar Hall South: 907-555-0151
• For City View Towers: 907-555-0008

Follow the prompts to upgrade, downgrade, report services issues or speak to a customer service representative.

You must advise them that you are a student at Johnson & Wales University and provide your residence hall name and address below for them to be able to be able to assist you:

You must provide your exact room number and contact information. If you are setting up a service appointment, you must make it for when you when you will be available in your room.
