JWU provides support and services for more than 1,800 international students, including English as a Second Language (ESL) courses, tutoring, academic counseling, special advisors and on-campus associations for international students.
JWU students have the opportunity to participate in one of 43 study abroad and exchange programs. Each college offers short-term summer programs as well as term-long study abroad and exchange programs. Another 100 travel-tourism majors take part in international familiarization tours annually.
JWU has more than 50 articulation (formal transfer credit) agreements with schools throughout the world.
Alumni from 152 countries pursue careers around the world.
Through exchange programs, JWU faculty teach international business, hospitality and culinary arts abroad every year, and bring this experience back into the classroom.
Our top 10 international student populations represent China, South Korea, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, India, Morocco, Turkey, the Bahamas, Netherland Antilles and Malaysia.
