Typography

To complement the university logo and to maintain institutional consistency, the following serif and sans-serif typefaces are approved for use in print, web and signage applications:

For headlines, subheads and body text
Adobe Garamond Pro
Myriad Pro

Verdana, with its visual similarity to Myriad Pro, will continue to be used for text on the university’s website.

For headlines, deck headings and subheads only
Gill Sans

For athletics and school spirit communications, headlines and subheads only
JWU WILDCATS

Please note that Gill Sans and JWU Wildcats are not used for body text.

For interoffice communication, documents and memos (required)
Times New Roman

Exceptions

• If Adobe Garamond Pro is not available on your system, then any Garamond typeface is an acceptable replacement.
• If Myriad Pro is not available on your system, then the Verdana typeface is an acceptable replacement.
