Community service-learning is an integral part of academic life at the Denver Campus.
Last year, students completed more than 30,000 hours of community service through volunteer activities and service-learning courses.
Leadership is a foundational principle at JWU, and community involvement is encouraged at all levels — by students, faculty and administration.
JWU is committed to collaborating with nonprofits in the local community, and expresses its support through in-kind and monetary contributions for local initiatives in neighboring communities.
Directed Work Experience Focusing on a specific industry-based project, directed work experiences provide an opportunity to apply newly acquired skills and knowledge in a supervised, non-paid industry or community setting.
