Life on Campus

img Res Hall Palm 170x150Located in South Florida’s commercial and cultural hub, JWU’s palm-tree lined North Miami Campus provides a full university experience in a multicultural setting — with the extracurriculars to match.

If you’re not sure where to start, we’ve got some ideas.

Whether you’re a serious team player or just want to stay in shape, our athletics programs cover the bases, thanks to 10 varsity teams, intra/extramurals and club sports, as well as fitness classes from body sculpting to yoga.

Getting involved in student activities is a great way to experience JWU from a different perspective. Our 30 clubs and organizations span social and cultural interests, Greek life, professional development and student-run publications — as well as leadership and community service programs. By taking part in activities you're passionate about, you’ll express your creativity, meet new friends and build career skills.

From study breaks to movie nights, camping trips to poolside barbecues, our residence halls buzz with activity. We even have living-learning communities, where you can live with your peers and take part in co-curricular activities tailored to your academic interests.

When you need to recharge, our dining hall, the Mix, offers a full array of tasty options. From quick fuel like granola bars, smoothies and breakfast wraps to market-fresh salads, delicious soups and made-to-order burgers with all the fixings, as well as vegetarian and international entrées, it’s got something for every appetite.

Life off campus is just as full. The greater North Miami area offers the perfect mix of sun, sand, culture and commerce. With NOMI, the city’s free bus service, you’ll be able to go exploring whenever you want. And, now that you’re sharing space with 2,000 potential new friends from all over the world, what are you waiting for?
