JWU Charlotte : Life on Campus

Life on Campus

Located in the heart of the Queen City’s revitalized uptown, our compact, dynamic Charlotte Campus provides a full university experience — with the extracurriculars to match.

Not sure where to start? We’ve got some ideas.

Whether you’re a serious team player or just want to stay in shape, our athletics programs cover the bases, thanks to a growing range of varsity teams, club sports and fitness classes.

Our 35 clubs and organizations span social and cultural interests, professional development and student-run publications — as well as leadership and community service programs. By getting involved, you’ll express your creativity, meet new friends and expand your horizons. Here, the Anointed Ministries choir offers a sneak peek of a typical practice:

From study breaks to game nights, road trips to floor dinners, our residence halls buzz with activity. We even have living-learning communities, where you can live with your peers and take part in co-curricular activities tailored to your academic interests.

Banish hunger at the Student Dining Center. It's got something for every appetite, from quick fuel like granola bars, smoothies and breakfast wraps to market-fresh salads, delicious soups, and made-to-order burgers, as well as vegetarian and international entrées.

Life off campus is just as full. Charlotte is a booming gateway city that balances Southern and metropolitan appeal. Thanks to a free trolley service that departs campus every 10 minutes, you’ll be able to explore it whenever you want. And, now that you’re sharing space with 2,400 potential new friends from all over the country (and world), what are you waiting for?
