Gallagher, president of the Charlotte Campus, emphasized the long-range nature of JWU's Charlotte plans: “Our new student center is a clear demonstration of the success of our students in Charlotte, another example of how our university’s investment and our economic impact on this region will continue to grow in the years to come.”

Michael Smith, CEO of Charlotte Center City Partners, said of JWU's presence in Charlotte, "You have transformed the texture of this city and raised the quality of our hospitality. We love having you here."
