Nicole, a Sports/Entertainment/Event Management major, joined Student Leaders in Community Engagement (SLICE) and was given the opportunity to manage the entire program.
Gaining experience managing up to 20 students at a time and running orientations, Nicole honed her management skills and says she became more marketable to potential employers.
She was also able to work with a nonprofit school to learn grant writing.
