Hotel Stay

To secure your complimentary stay at the Radisson Airport Hotel, you must first make reservations and submit a completed undergraduate (66K PDF) or graduate travel request form (66K PDF) by the required due date. New international students will be given up to two free nights in the hotel, as the university sees fit.

Students who will be living in residence halls will be taken there directly.

Weekend arrivals are strongly discouraged because university staff is not available to assist with arrival services. If you arrive prior to or after the hotel availability dates, transportation and housing services will only be available on a limited basis.

Complimentary rooms for students living off-campus are only available from Sunday-Wednesday and are subject to availability. If you arrive on Thursday, Friday or Saturday, you will be required to pay for the room. You must pay for any additional nights that you spend in the hotel.

Family or friends who want to stay at the Radisson Airport Hotel may reserve a room, if available, but this will not be considered part of the complimentary stay extended to new international students. New students who choose to stay in the same room with family or friends will be responsible for the full cost of the room.

You will share your room with up to two other new international students. Smoking is not allowed in any of the hotel rooms. Once you secure an off-campus apartment, we will tell you when to check out of the hotel and then help you move into your apartment.

Recommended Arrival Times
Plan to arrive at the hotel based on the calendar for the term in which you will begin:

You must bring your passport, I-94 card, I-20 form and funds for opening your bank account. International Housing Coordinator Elaine Petronio will introduce you to convenient housing options, as well as to potential roommates. We recommend that you work with Elaine to find your housing to ensure the best possible living situation for you. Once you secure housing, JWU staff will assist you with setting up your utilities.
