JWU’s Providence Campus offers special arrival services to international students, including
Students arriving in Providence by train or bus should take a taxi to the Radisson Airport Hotel in Warwick, Rhode Island. Taxis will be waiting outside of the bus and train terminals, or you can call a taxi.
Transportation reservations are required for complimentary pick-up services from T.F. Green Airport and accommodations. In order to ensure full access to these services, you must submit the travel request form (129K PDF) to our office by the following dates:

Once we receive your international student travel form, a reservation will be arranged for you at the hotel if you will be living off campus (depending on availability). Failure to fulfill these requirements may result in additional costs and a reduction in services.
Pick-Up Services Upon your request, a representative from JWU can meet you when you arrive in Providence and take you to your hotel.
If you plan to look for off-campus housing, arrive one week before these dates, so that you have enough time to find an apartment. Be sure to arrive between Sunday and Wednesday, as these are the nights that the hotel is available for arrival services. Late or delayed arrivals If your travel plans change due to a cancelled or delayed arrival, we will do our best to accommodate your needs. During normal business hours, contact the International Center at 401-598-4669. After hours, contact Safety and Security and ask for Transportation at 401-598-1103.
We cannot guarantee transportation or room reservations for last-minute changes.
If you plan to live in the residence halls but arrive after 1:30am, you will have to stay in the Radisson Airport Hotel on your first night at your own cost. You will have to take a taxi to the hotel, which will cost approximately $30. A JWU representative will pick you up at the hotel at 8:30am on the following morning and take you to your residence hall.
