Travel Deadlines

JWU’s Charlotte Campus offers special arrival services to international students, including

• Two night complimentary stay at our university-owned hotel on campus
• International student orientation and welcome activities
• Off-campus housing assistance through Student Activities

• Shopping trips for apartment and residence hall coordinated through Student Activities

Submit Travel Request Form
In order to ensure full access to these services, you must submit the travel request form (124K PDF) to our office by the following dates:

• Fall Term: Aug 9, 2013
• Winter Term: Nov 15, 2013
• Spring Term: Feb 14, 2014

Once we receive your international student travel form, a reservation will be arranged for you at the hotel (depending on availability). The Travel Form must be submitted in order for you to receive complimentary accommodations.

Failure to submit the completed form on time may result in additional costs and a reduction in services. 

Recommended Travel Dates 
Transportation and hotel services will be available on the following dates:

• Fall Term: Aug 29-30, 2013
• Winter Term: Nov 21-22 and Dec 2, 2013
• Spring Term: Mar 6-7, 2014
