The Intra-Campus Culinary Competition Hosted at one of JWU's four campuses, the annual Intra-Campus Culinary competition (ICC) is available for those students already studying in the College of Culinary Arts. Each year teams of JWU students participate in the Intra-Campus competition which allows them to master their competition skills against their peers before competing nationally and overseas.
The IKA/Culinary Olympics A competition held every four years in Erfurt, Germany, the IKA/Culinary Olympics represents the most prestigious culinary competition in the world. During the 2008 Olympics, JWU's faculty-student team took four medals: one gold, two silver and a bronze. Due to the international exposure and skills required, the IKA/Culinary Olympics is recommended for junior and senior level students and is open to students from all of our campuses.
Campus competitionsPeriodically throughout the year, some of the world's leading food service companies offer culinary and recipe competitions for students on campus. These competitions usually include the use of a specific ingredient, and winners are granted cash prizes. Competitions, dates and rules are posted on campus.
