Financial Aid

A happy JWU graduate holds up her diplomaJWU is dedicated to making education as accessible and affordable as possible. Through our participation in federal, state and private aid programs, you’ll find that the average net cost of a JWU education can be significantly less than you think.

We’ve taken proactive steps to lower student debt, including allocating $140+ million in institutional aid for the upcoming academic year and keeping tuition cost increases to a minimum.

In addition, we award annual need-based grants, which you can apply for each year you attend JWU. Scholarships, loans and other forms of aid are also available.

Applying for Financial Aid
Step one is completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This free, no-obligation application is used to determine your financial aid eligibility and award. For US students, eligibility for university need-based and federal aid is determined through the FAFSA, so be sure to file as early as possible.

Ready to get started? Follow these simple steps to apply.

Financial Counseling
Throughout the process, our dedicated financial planners provide in-person loan counseling, education and strategies to make attendance financially possible for you and your family. Please don’t hesitate to contact Student Financial Services.
