Culinary Arts Summer Educator ProgramsOur immersive culinary arts summer educator programs are designed for food service educators who want to improve their knowledge and teaching skills. Choose from the following tracks:
Certified Culinary Essentials Educator (CCEE) Program July 14-19, 2013Increase your knowledge of the principles and techniques of teaching culinary arts in a secondary and post-secondary environment. Emphasis is on developing lesson plans, best practices of instructional methods, tools and skills of instruction, and organizing instructional and supplementary materials. A take-home final exam and outside classroom project are optional course requirements for those desiring CCEE certification.Updating Your Skills Culinary Arts I and Baking & Pastry Arts I: July 14-19, 2013This summer session is designed for educators of all skill levels. Culinary Arts I covers the fundamentals of commercial food service. Baking & Pastry Arts I covers essential baking skills and techniques.Culinary Nutrition, Culinary Arts II and Baking & Pastry Arts II: July 21-26, 2013Designed for graduates of Level I and/or educators with food service industry experience.
