From 1987 to 1989 Patricia Fisher was a merchandiser for the Zayre Corporation in Framingham, Massachusetts. While at Zayre she was in charge of a $ 37 million department, and allocated merchandise to over 500 stores.
Fisher joined the university in 1991 as the store manager for Gladding’s, a women’s specialty store and former JWU practicum property. In 1995 she took over the role of Retail Internship Coordinator in addition to her responsibilities as store manager. In 2002, she joined the College of Business leadership team as the Department Chairperson of the Marketing Department.
Fisher is a also a weekly volunteer at Saylesville Elementary School working with Special Needs students.
