Manny Tavares is JWU's dean of international recruitment and training. He has been involved in secondary and higher education for nearly 40 years as both a teacher and administrator. With undergraduate and graduate degrees from Southern Connecticut State University and Harvard University, Tavares has worked in admissions both domestically and internationally at Eckerd College in Florida and the University of Pennsylvania. He has been with JWU since 1987 and continues to be passionate about working with international students.
