Before JWU student Britney Thomas ’07 even completed her internship at the Campbell Soup Company’s culinary internship program, she was offered a full-time position.
Now she's a senior research assistant in the company’s research and development division. “The culinary nutrition program helped me to see the big industry picture—not just the kitchen, but in the business, legal and quality sectors,” Brtiney says.
Britney learned how an idea is taken from prototype to finished market product, and how departments work cross-functionally to get a product to market. “The internship was just a tremendous,” she says.
