Professional Development

Are you an educator looking for professional development opportunities? Johnson & Wales University's Professional Learning Initiative connects you with courses and workshops on key teaching and educational leadership issues.

Connect theory with best practices — often through an essential fieldwork component. Make, identify and solve problems and connect what you learn with student outcomes.

As teachers, you must challenge long-established attitudes to create change. In these programs, explore:

  • Technologies that focus on 21st century digital learners
  • Effective instructional pedagogies in a specific discipline
  • Improved classroom management techniques

Email Ian Canning, director, Continuing Education, for more information.
