The Ocean State Homebrew Competition (OSHC) is Rhode Island’s only statewide competition for homebrewers of fine beers, ciders and meads, and is hosted and organized by JbreW, JWU’s brewing club.
The first annual OSHC took place in 2011, at JWU’s Cuisinart Center for Culinary Excellence. The OSHC is sanctioned by the Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP) and the American Homebrewers’ Association (AHA). Awards are given in each judged category, as well as for “Best of Show.”
