English as a Second Language (ESL) Program

English as a Second Language (ESL) services are offered through the North Miami Campus’ English Language Institute, allowing you to improve your reading, writing and conversation skills while earning academic credit.

This intensive program covers everything you’ll need to prepare for college-level classes, from basic grammar to comprehension and critical thinking skills. In-class work, conversation and writing assignments help ease your transition to campus life.

Students who wish to study only English and are not planning to enter an academic program are also welcome.

ESL Courses, Scheduling and Placement
Choose from one of 3 11-week programs offered during the academic year (September-May), or an 8-week summer program.
