Susan Mockus joined the Johnson & Wales University faculty in the fall of 2010 and has taught courses in Life Science, Anatomy & Physiology, Nutrition, and Food Microbiology Lab.

Prior to coming to JWU Mockus' worked in bioinformatics as a Project Manager for the Proteome Division of Biobase Corporation and she continues to collaborate in the field with the Comparative Toxicogenomics Database at the Mount Desert Island Biological Laboratory. She has also taught as an adjunct at Roger Williams University, New England Institute of Technology, and the Community College of Rhode Island.
