Performance Food Group Scholarship

Performance Food Group believes that sharing its good fortune with others is vital to a responsible, strong, caring company. Through this commitment, PFG has established a generous scholarship fund at Johnson & Wales University. Scholarships of up to $5,000 per academic year will be awarded to qualified applicants.

First preference will be given to dependent children of employees and customer companies of PFG, and to Post 9/11 GI Bill Chapter 33 veterans. For these applicants, financial need is not a requirement to receive the scholarship. Other applicants must have applied for and be eligible for financial aid.

The scholarship cannot be transferred to Post 9/11 GI Bill Chapter 33 veterans’ family members. Scholarships awarded to these veterans will be subject to federal and JWU awarding guidelines.

All applicants must

  • be an accepted, full-time undergraduate day student at any JWU campus: Providence, R.I.; North Miami, Fla.; Denver, Colo.; and Charlotte, N.C.
  • be pursuing a degree in a JWU culinary arts or hospitality program
  • be in good academic standing at the time of the award. For first-year students there is no GPA requirement. Sophomores, juniors and seniors must have a 3.0 or higher GPA at the time of each subsequent renewal.
  • have received notification of admission acceptance to JWU prior to February 15
  • submit a new application each year to be eligible for a renewal

Scholarship applications must be received by JWU by February 15.
