Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman Scholarship Application

Through its commitment to training the next generation of culinary and hospitality leaders, The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman has established a scholarship fund to benefit one student per year from Grand Cayman Island who has shown excellence in his or her high school academic career.

This scholarship will provide the student the opportunity to earn a bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts and Food Service Management from any of Johnson & Wales University’s four United States campuses in Providence, RI; North Miami, Fla.; Denver, Colo.; or Charlotte, NC.

The student will annually receive the full cost of tuition, room and board, and academic fees, with an additional $1,000 allocated for books and supplies, for up to four years. In addition, the Ritz Carlton Scholar will receive a paid internship at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman resort for each year he or she is enrolled at JWU.

To fulfill the requirements of the scholarship, The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman Scholar must

  • Be a graduate of one of Grand Cayman’s government high schools.
  • Meet admissions requirements and be accepted into JWU’s culinary arts program.
  • Attend full time and be in good academic standing at the time of the award.
  • Email Janette Goodman indicating that you have applied to JWU and are interested in the scholarship.
