img Hosp Hands On DEN 170x150In our Restaurant, Food and Beverage Management bachelor's degree program, you'll combine culinary skills with business savvy. Integrating culinary and managerial training with business skills in financial analysis, the program's focus is on current restaurant and food service management industry trends.

Under the guidance of faculty who combine strong theory with real-world experience, you'll learn the inner workings of the business. Core classes range from Food Safety and Sanitation Management and New World Cuisines to Hospitality Strategic Marketing and Beverage Operations Management.

This program includes a hands-on internship experience at one of our partner properties or a JWU-owned facility. Value-added certifications within the degree include:

  • ServSafe Alcohol, an industry-recognized training program in responsible alcohol service
  • National Sanitation, a training program recognized by the Conference for Food Protection
  • International School of Mixology Bartending

You can further customize your degree by selecting a concentration option specific to your area(s) of interest.
