Student Entrepreneurs Compete for $5,000 to Start Their Business

Do you have what it takes to be your own boss? At Johnson & Wales University, you don’t just learn how to start your own business — you get the chance to do it.

Top student entrepreneurs have just 90 seconds to propose their business at Shark Tank. The winner gets $5,000 in start-up support from JWU:

  • $1,500 cash reimbursement for pre-approved start-up expenses
  • $2,000 in-kind value for business consulting services
  • $1,500 in-kind value for incubator space in our entrepreneurship center
