One-Year MBA Program

Earn your MBA in just one year at JWU. Our intensive day courses begin in June, so you can graduate in May with an MBA that sets you apart.

Perhaps you’re just completing your undergraduate degree and want to move straight into an MBA program. Or maybe you’re a business professional who wants to earn an MBA within a short time frame.

At JWU, you’ll find a career-focused curriculum designed to build and hone your management skills and position you for opportunities in a variety of industries.

Our career-focused program takes you into the industry — get work experience with real companies through our required internship/action research project, and build skills that give you an edge in the competitive job market.

You’ll progress through the program with a cohort of students, so you can develop a team approach to problem-solving that is essential for success in leadership positions.

Work with faculty members that have successful business experience and career experts to build on your business or hospitality academic background, and connect you with opportunities that prepare you professionally.

Your curriculum will consist of business courses carefully designed with industry leaders to bring your business skills to the next level, with an action research project/embedded internship. It will include:

  • Business Information and Decision Making
  • Operations Management
  • Effective Leadership
  • Financial Management
  • Strategic Marketing
  • Ethics, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Law
  • Financial Reporting and Control
  • Global Economic Environments

If you are matriculating directly into this program, you will be required to take twelve prescribed courses.
