Management Students Win Big at SAM Conference

LAS VEGAS - April 9, 2012 - Johnson & Wales University students Bobby and Kim were in Vegas to win — but not at the slot machines. At April’s Society for the Advancement of Management (SAM) Conference, their JWU chapter collected numerous awards, including:

These students gained an invaluable professional development opportunity through SAM, where professionals share their expertise and develop new ideas to guide management thinking into the future for finance, productions, marketing, accounting, research & development, entrepreneurship and more.

Students get to network, make presentations at the national level and meet management and academic leaders from around the world.

Bobby, along with Charles Sterlin, Michael Turell, Christine Talamayan and Fatoumata Barry also received an honorable mention in the Open Case Competition.
