Michael Petrillose has barely settled into his new office at Johnson & Wales University, but he’s already thinking big picture.

My job will be to build upon that model and ensure that, globally, our programs — and our outstanding alumni — continue to be highly regarded for their excellence.”As the ranking official of The Hospitality College, Dean Petrillose is responsible for the content and quality of the academic programs offered, fostering an environment of continual improvement and innovation.
His academic accomplishments include publications in the area of customer service, hospitality management issues and grant work.
Hotel Experience Before his academic career at State University of New York (SUNY) at Delhi and the University of Las Vegas, he spent more than 20 years in the industry.
He's help positions at the Continental Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and Regis Hotel Corporation, and consulted for Mohegan Sun Resorts, Sandals, MGM Grand Hotel & Resort, and the Tropicana. Learn more about Dean Petrillose's experience.
