Attorney General Speaks at JWU

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Oct 1, 2012 – Johnson & Wales University’s criminal justice students usually go out into the field to meet industry experts. But today, RI Attorney General Peter Kilmartin comes to them.

Kilmartin, who will speak to students in our criminal justice program, was first elected to the office of Attorney General in 2010.

Prior to his election, he had served for 20 years in the General Assembly as a representative of the City of Pawtucket. He also spent 24 years in law enforcement in Pawtucket.

Kilmartin earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Roger Williams University and his Juris Doctorate from Roger Williams University School of Law.
