Thank you for your interest in becoming a part of our residential community at JWU’s Denver Campus. Living in a residence hall can provide you with many opportunities to interact with other students in both an educational and social setting. Please read through the instructions below carefully, as they provide important information for securing campus housing.
ApplyNew students can apply for housing online. Review the Housing Selection FAQ or view information about Special Interest Communities.
PricingFor information regarding costs of room and board, review the university’s housing rates.
Moving-In ProcessWe recommend you arrive between the hours of 8am and 12pm, so that you can participate in all of the Week of Welcome festivities. There will be a limited amount of dollies available; therefore, you’re encouraged to bring a small cart, dolly or hand truck to ease the process.
During check-in, you will be given access to your building using an access proximity card, which is your student ID. You will also receive a key to your room, a welcome gift and a Room Inventory Form (RIF). The RIF needs to be completed by the mandatory floor meeting that evening or within 24 hours of move-in. Please make sure to note any discrepancies or findings on your RIF so you are not charged for room damages at the end of the year.
InsuranceWe highly recommend that you obtain renter’s insurance whether that be a special policy or as a part of the parents’ homeowners policy. JWU is not responsible for personal belongings.
