Housing Exemptions
An exemption from the second year of the two-year residency requirement will be granted only to students who:

• Are 21 years of age or older
• Have transferred from another JWU campus or a different institution
• Are single parents
• Are married or have a domestic partner
• Live with an adult relative within a 50-mile radius of the campus (as determined by MapQuest)

If you meet one or more of these criteria, complete the Residency Exemption form (44K PDF) and return it to our office for review. Once a decision has been made, you will receive notification to your JWU email account.
