The Denver Campus has six computer labs that are run by the Technical Services Department. Students need an active JWU email account to access the computers.Hours of operation are posted in each location.

Z Drive You will be allotted 10mb of data storage on the university’s file server. Every time you log on to a PC in a lab or classroom on campus, the Z: drive will be automatically mapped. Your Z: drive can only be accessed by you, and should be used to store projects, papers and assignments that you can retrieve while in any lab or classroom on the Denver campus. The data is only available from the computer lab machines; it can't be accessed from home, ResNet or the web. Please do not store illegal or illegally obtained/copyrighted material on your Z: Drive. Public Folders Your JWU email account gives you access to the university’s public folders, where professors post syllabi, course outlines, assignments and more. You can also obtain information about campus events and student activities. The Public Folders link is beneath your private folders. Click the plus [+] sign beside Public Folders to see all of the available public folders. Flash drives We recommend that you purchase a USB flash drive for holding larger files and transporting documents to off-site locations where you do not have access to your Z: drive. Flash drives are reasonably priced, reliable and hold a lot more than floppy disks. USB drives are available for purchase in the bookstore. Remember to back up your Flash drive in case of failure or loss.
