NEW Program: MBA with Hospitality Concentration

Take your next step in the hospitality field. Earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Hospitality at Johnson & Wales University.

Why? Because hospitality is a global industry: Professionals with MBA-level skills are needed to develop effective strategies, conduct high-level research, enhance revenues from strategic channels and evaluate marketing outcomes.

Build the dual foundation to become a more effective hospitality industry professional at JWU. Gain a deeper understanding of business practices, finances and strategies — with specialized hospitality instruction in operations management, strategic marketing and hospitality law.

In class, engage with other hospitality professionals who will become important career contacts — all in Denver’s event, travel and tourism epicenter.

MBA in Just 18 Months
Start in September 2013, and graduate in February 2015. Our cohort structure allows you to complete this MBA program in 18 months (6 consecutive terms, 3 terms per year including summer).

Online Hybrid Courses
JWU recognizes the reality of working and going to school at the same time. To accommodate your busy life, we offer a blended, hybrid delivery model for our practical and academic coursework:

Online Courses: Conveniently work from home, your office or on the road at times that fit your schedule.

In-Person Classes: Meet 3-5 times per academic term, usually on a Sunday and Monday to minimize work conflicts.

Hybrid Courses: Some courses will have significant portions offered online, along with 2 or 3 in-person meetings to personally connect with faculty and colleagues on course work.

Catalog Course Information

$1,000 Scholarships
Entering this program, you are automatically eligible for a $1,000 inaugural scholarship each year, distributed among each of the 3 terms for the given year. You must be continuously enrolled for 6 terms to be eligible.

Cohort Structure
