Policies & Procedures
As we all know, attending classes is only one aspect of your collegiate experience. In addition to connecting you to the campus learning community, living on campus provides countless opportunities to interact with fellow students, faculty and staff. JWU’s Denver Campus values the residential experience. As such, all first year students are required to live on campus unless a housing exception is granted.
An on-campus living exemption (PDF) for first-time JWU students may be granted for any of the following reasons:
- You’re at least 24 years of age by the time school commences.
- You’re transferring in credit from another institution where they have lived on campus for at least two semesters.
- You are married or have a domestic partner.
- You live with your parents within Denver’s seven-county metro area (Adams, Arapahoe, Broomfield, Boulder, Denver, Douglas and Jefferson).
For other housing and university-related policies, please consult the Student Handbook and the Guide to On-Campus Living.
