Residence halls are equipped with security and courtesy phones. Security phones are located in every corridor on every hall floor and dial directly to Campus Safety & Security. To place local (Miami-Dade, Broward, Monroe and Palm Beach counties) and toll-free calls, courtesy phones are provided in the lounge or recreation rooms of each residence hall. Long distance calls can be made from these phones using a prepaid calling card or a card that bills directly your personal telephone number. Prepaid calling cards are available at the University Bookstore.
