History In 1993, JWU’s North Miami Campus opened Flamingo Hall to approximately 90 residents, which included two student staff members and supervision from a campus administrator. Since then, the Office of Residential Life has grown considerably, offering campus living to approximately 1000 students in seven properties, employing seven professional staff and more than 100 student staff members, including resident assistants, student assistants and students participating in the federal work study program. Mission The Office of Residential Life supports the mission of the university by creating an environment conducive to helping students find both personal and professional success. We’re committed to making our residential community a safe, comfortable and fun environment —your home away from home.
