Housing Move-In Procedure
Special arrangements & recommendations Residence halls will close for winter break at noon on Fri, Dec 17, 2010 and reopen at noon on Sun, Jan 2, 2011. You will not be permitted to remain in the residence halls during this time. If you require housing during the winter break, you must make your own arrangements for accommodations. However, City View Towers will remain open. All buildings are open during fall and spring breaks; however, the dining center will be closed.
Residence Halls close for winter break on Fri, Dec 23 at noon and will reopen at noon on Sun, Jan 8, 2012. At the end of the academic year, all buildings will close at noon on Fri, May 18, 2012 and on Sat, May 19, 2012 at 5pm for graduating seniors.
Two-Year Residency Requirement All first-year students are required to live on campus in either Cedar Hall North or Cedar Hall South. Second-year students are required to live on campus as well and can fulfill this requirement in Cedar Hall North, Cedar Hall South or City View Towers. Students who are older than 21 years of age or living with an adult relative within a 50-mile radius of campus are exempt from the two-year residency requirement. Also exempt: transfer and international students, as well as students who are single parents or married.
