Chef Marina Brancely joined the faculty of Johnson & Wales University in 2006 after spending eight years as executive pastry chef for Ming Tsai’s restaurant, Blue Ginger in Wellesley, Mass. While working with Tsai, her experience in managing the pastry shop also included writing recipes for Blue Ginger cookbooks and Tsai’s cooking shows “Simply Ming” (PBS) and “East Meets West with Ming Tsai” (Food Network).

Brancely has also worked for The Wine Spectator Restaurant at The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone, St. Helena, Calif.; Lespinasse at St. Regis Hotel, Manhattan, N.Y.; The California Café, San Diego, Calif.; and The Anchorage Hilton, Anchorage, Alaska.
