Robert Ross is an associate instructor on the faculty of Johnson & Wales University where he teaches undergraduate classes in the Beverage and Dining Services department, as well as seminars for food service educators and professionals, and is a specialist in front-of-house operations.

Ross is a recipient of the College’s peer-selected Robert M. Nograd Teacher of the Year Award. He is also faculty advisor for the JWU Ski Club.

Prior to coming to JWU, Ross worked at Hugo’s Restaurant at the Hyatt Lake Tahoe where he was the restaurant manager, and as restaurant captain at Apley’s at the Sheraton Hotel in Boston. He holds Advanced Certification from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust and is an associate member of the Federation of Dining Room Professionals and a Certified Hospitality Educator (C.H.E.) by the American Hotel & Lodging Education Institute.
