Before joining the Charlotte Campus, Joan Geller worked at JWU’s Charleston Campus for seven years. She also taught at the University of Pennsylvania Medical School and the College of Charleston, and has conducted postgraduate work at The Citadel.
In addition to teaching, Geller continues her consulting business helping people express themselves through public speaking and communication skills, working with corporations and individuals. She has been active with clubs and organizations that encourage giving back to the community and developing leadership skills. As an advisor, DECA flourished and Toastmasters began.
