A Johnson & Wales University faculty member since 1998, Paul Merluzzo teaches English Composition and Communication Skills. Four times a year he leads the Gallery Night Art Tours for JWU students and faculty. He has published in The Leaflet, The Maze, and Teacher as Writer, and is the author of two books of poetry, Artificial Illumination and Spirit & Letter. He has also authored work for the JWU Community Theater Group.
Merluzzo has presented at Rhode Island Council for Teachers of English and New England Association of Teachers of English, and for the Center for Leadership Studies, and has received several awards at the Writers Conference at Ocean Park, Maine.
